About Me
I'm a Senior Software Engineer and Technology Consultant based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with over 5 years of experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions across fintech, agritech, and government sectors in East and Southern Africa.
I operate through two entities: Jenga Tech Consulting, my independent consulting practice serving government and enterprise clients, and Handisi Digital Solutions Ltd, my AgriTech SaaS company building products for African agriculture.
My work spans the full spectrum — from architecting commodity exchange platforms processing high-volume transactions in Zambia, to building coordination systems for Zanzibar's Ministry of Blue Economy, to managing Tanzania's national e-commerce platform development. I'm equally comfortable leading cross-functional teams on World Bank-funded government projects as I am writing code for a USSD gateway that needs to respond in under 500 milliseconds on a feature phone.
What drives me is building technology that works in the real conditions of East and Southern Africa — unreliable connectivity, feature phone users, tight budgets, and complex regulatory environments. Every system I build is designed with these constraints in mind.
